This unique facility was actually designed by 5th graders when asked what they would like to see in a space center. It features various meteorite exhibits, a space shuttle landing gear tire, Atlantis Space Shuttle model, Columbia Shuttle memorial display, Iridium Satellite model and Lowell Observatory display.
Tip: On select Saturdays, Challenger Space Center hosts Family STAR Nights, an entertaining and interactive astronomy night that is fun for the whole family. Cost is $7 per person, free for kids 3 and under.
